Time to buy washer dryer. Labor days ads from olums advertised 0%. Why not? Free money for a year. No one explained that their credit plan was a credit card. It arrived yesterday telling me I have $6500 in credit. Washer dryer was only $1200.
About 8 years ago I was set to buy a Samsung fridge from home depot. Went to olums to compare to keep it relatively "local" they matched price. But had to order. I was told approx 10 days. 10 days later I was told that week. .nothing. 3 weeks later, same thing. This went on for well over a month.
Went to h.depot ordered, psid, delivered 2 days. Refund from olums.
Good selection and reasonable prices, but don't fall for the additional warranty coverage. The extra charge for "extended warranty" yields absolutely no coverage or work for anything. I feel like i was scammed there.
Ok, today is delivery day. Dryer shows up with dents on it. Operation s manager dave calls and tells me he will knock off $100 if I accept it. I explained that those dents definetel rattled the insides and no thank you.
big lots is selling higher quality furniture than these guys for 1/4th of the price and about a mile further down the road.
Same as everyone else... expensive furniture... poor quality... My wife and I purchased a desk a little over a year ago for our brand new home. In the top drawer we put some sticky note pads and some pens and a small palm sized external HD... the drawer face is made out of fiber board with a wood veneer. After opening the drawer a total of about 8 times over the year we've had the fiber board fall apart and we now have a desk drawer with no face on it... Called when it was like 3 weeks past the one year and was told nothing could be done... couldn't even order a replacement... $400 desk... no replacement parts...
Very good deals on appliances. Well trained staff that seem very caring that you purchase correct item. Payment plans available. Parking is ample in well lit parking lot and paved with few potholes. Safe in the evening.
